More than two decades across the operational chain.

As Head of the Central Forensic Division at the Hungarian National Bureau of Investigation, Kornél Papp leads national-level crime-scene capability for the country’s most serious and complex investigations. Over the past decade, he has held scene-command, specialist-leadership or coordination responsibilities at numerous major incidents of national significance in Hungary.

His direct work spans criminal investigation, major-scene command, forensic recovery, CBRN and Radiological Crime Scene Management, national DVI coordination, clandestine laboratory response and the operational integration of UAVs, 3D scanning, Raman systems and rapid DNA analysis.

This breadth is central to TSM. It allows training to address not only what an individual discipline must do, but how its actions affect rescue, safety, intelligence, evidence continuity, victim identification and later judicial use across the complete scene lifecycle.

He has contributed to international training and capability development connected with the UN system, NATO, INTERPOL, IAEA, OPCW, CEPOL and specialist forensic networks. Organisational references describe relevant professional experience and do not imply endorsement of this platform.
